OCEM Airfield Technology’s first exhibition showing of 2016 will be Feb. 9-10 at the National Aviation Infrastructure Show in Moscow, Russia, where the Italian company will present its full line of airfield lighting and monitoring systems suited for extreme temperatures and conditions.
OCEM’s halogen and LED product lines both perform optimally whether exposed to high heat or sub-freezing temperatures and other harsh conditions. Drawing on the success of its highly reliable halogen products, the company offers a field-proven LED “Arctic kit” with surface-treated optical prisms and low protrusion to allow for easy removal of snow.
The company will also demonstrate how airports of all sizes can successfully upgrade to low-energy, cost-saving LED lighting systems, based on numerous highly effective installations completed in recent years.
Last year alone, OCEM’s LED product line was installed in airports in Berlin, Sao Paolo, Madrid, Milan, Seattle, and Abu Dhabi. LED luminaries have an average lifespan of more than 150,000 hours and guarantee performance on par with halogen lights — all while greatly reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
