Hong Kong International Airport now home to OCEM for LED ground lighting

The Italian company supplied inset and elevated taxiway LED lights.

OCEM Airfield Technology recently installed new LED lighting fittings for Hong Kong International Airport, one of the world’s busiest airports both by cargo and passenger traffic. 

The Italian company provided both elevated and inset LED signals for the taxiway. The airport has also installed numerous constant current regulators supplied by OCEM Airfield Technology (via its associate company Augier SAS in France).

Hong Kong International is the world’s busiest airport by cargo and among the top 10 busiest by passenger traffic. It accommodated 4.38 million tons of cargo and 68.5 million passengers in 2015.

The airport serves as a key gateway for mainland China and the rest of Asia — a region where OCEM has been active for many years.
