Marseille Provence Airport renews confidence in OCEM Airfield for major runway upgrade.
Marseille Provence Airport is France’s third largest airport with on average more than 10 million passengers on a yearly basis flying to 131 destinations worldwide.
Previously the airport acquired OCEM Airfield’ LED approach lighting and both the satisfaction about the performance and the quality of service has led to a renewal of the relationship.
The airport has acquired for both runways, one CAT I and one in CAT II all airfield ground lighting needs from approach to touchdown zone lights to all runway lights both inset and elevated.
The airfield ground lighting is powered by the DIAM 41 thyristor regulators from OCEM Airfield’s AUGIER AGL CCR range.
The airport is rapidly approaching 2019 volumes, it reached 90% last year and is well on its way to reach the same volume and eventually surpass it. The runway rehabilitation is part of a major ongoing renovation program.
