OCEM Airfield Technology is proud to announce it has been selected by ADP, Aéroports De Paris, to provide constant current regulators to Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, Europe’s second busiest airport.
The company beat out its main competitor, ADB Safegate, and was chosen to supply its IGBTs and DIAM4200 regulators.
What made the difference to such a key transportation hub?
First, OCEM’s strong experience, enduring presence in the aviation industry — the company has been active since 1917 — and renowned quality make it a reliable supplier.
Second, OCEM’s innovative products are constantly updated to meet market needs, offering a state-of-the-art engineering and creating products that are adaptable and easy to maintain and to upgrade.
Finally, OCEM boasts a short lead-time, with the tender awarded this summer and delivery expected by the end of 2017. All of these combine to make OCEM the best choice on the market.
The CCRs requested by ADP are the company’s best-selling DIAM 4200, suitable for 2.5 kVA to 20 kVA.
The DIAM4200 series CCRs are based on a VeryHF AC Chopper, an optimized static devices controlled by insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) bridges. It is unprecedented by design for single and double phase architectures.
They are designed to maintain a constant, pre-displayed and adjustable output current independent of load or power supply fluctuations. The devices are specially designed for visual aids supplies, particularly LED lights.
OCEM is confident this project represents the start of a new long-term collaboration with ADP and Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport. The company is proud to work with an airport that serves nearly 66 million passengers annually, and is inspired to continue to push the boundaries of technological discovery.
