Technical Buyer

Attività

  • Assicurare il migliore valore di acquisto dei particolari assegnati, in logica: qualità, prezzo, consegna.
  • Gestire il parco fornitori in collaborazione con gli uffici tecnici, la produzione e la qualità secondo metodologie Lean.
  • Pianificare e condurre visite e riunioni con i fornitori.
  • Gestire la negoziazione con fornitori, la stesura di Accordi e Contratti.
  • Gestire gli ordini di acquisto: verificare le richieste di acquisto, occuparsi dell’emissione ordini e monitorare le consegne in logica OTD.
  • Supportare l’Ufficio Tecnico per lo sviluppo di nuove applicazioni/prodotti: acquisto di attrezzature, prototipi e campioni.
  • Supportare la gestione dei fabbisogni in produzione, in accordo con la programmazione della produzione, eseguendo solleciti e follow up.
  • Gestire gli ordini di acquisto.
  • Attuare l’attività di scouting e ricerca nuovi fornitori sia in Italia che all’estero con particolare attenzione ai paesi LCC.
  • Condurre in modo autonomo le analisi di Make or Buy.

 

Qualifiche e competenze

  • Laurea in ingegneria meccanica, elettrica o elettronica o similare con il massimo dei voti.
  • Da 2 a 4 anni di esperienza nell’acquisto di componenti elettronici/meccanici.
  • Autonomia tecnica relativamente alle categorie di acquisto assegnate.
  • Conoscenza dei sistemi MRP, in particolare SAM.
  • Conoscenza delle tecniche di negoziazione e di contrattualistica.
  • Eccellente conoscenza della lingua inglese e francese, una lingua aggiuntiva è un plus.

System Engineer Mission

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people with the passion to support our vision and help to change the future of aviation. We are now offering a fascinating position as a Junior System Engineer.

The System Engineer will contribute to specification, design, realization, factory test, on site start-up and follow-up of complex systems for managing the runway visual aids of airports.

 

Responsibilities

  • You participate in the system definition, design and realizations
  • You contribute to define the contract’s budget
  • You assist on the on-site system configuration ensuring its best performance given the typical local conditions
  • You support system validation including factory and on-site commissioning of the system.
  • You assist in customer and internal trainings
  • You generate and maintain the accompanying documentation like configuration and design reports
  • You support the activities of field engineers during commissioning, and monitor and support site activities and warranty interventions

Essential Functions

Bid Preparation Support

  • Supports the bidding team in the design of solutions based on customer specifications with accurate bills of materials and costing.
  • Provides support for the preparation of technical written submittal packages for complex projects.
  • Participates, within its competence, in the assessment of potential risk factors and related corrective measures
  • Collaborates in the technical-economic validation of new partners and suppliers

Project Management Support

  • Supports project life-cycle from quote to customer acceptance.
  • Works with and follows a project plan, communication plan and associated documents.
  • Proactively manages project risks and provides feedback to the Project Manager.
  • Manages a budget including labour, material and travel expenses for assigned tasks.
  • Effectively communicates task status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Site Project Support

  • Coordinates on site electrical contractor installation requirements.
  • Coordinates on site schedule and itinerary with contractors.
  • Provides on-site system power up of equipment.
  • Performs/assists in Systems Acceptance Testing and formal customer walk throughs.

Testing and Validation Support

  • Performs both in house and customer validation testing.

Training and Presenting

  • Utilizes training standards and processes to produce internal and customer training programs.
  • Performs technical training internally or for customers.

Administrative

  • Reviews and writes reports, manuals and test plans as required.
  • Creates timely, expense reports, trip reports, preventive maintenance results documentation as required.

Leadership

  • Supports contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of OCEM Airfield
  • Develops best practices and tools for project and product support activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Min. Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering related fields
  • Any relevant experience is an asset, but this position is also open to motivated recent graduates. 
  • Experience in the field of airport technology is not a must but a strong interest is welcome.
  • Interest in and a willingness to continuously learn new technologies is key in this role.
  • Experience in electrical work, testing or other quality activities related jobs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the principles and applications of communication on power-lines and TCP/IP networks is an advantage.

Regional Sales Manager - Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

He/she will be in-charge of all regional sales activities for our  Airport solutions, with a focus on Airfield Ground Lighting Products, Solutions and Services, Control and Monitoring Systems and AGL Power Solutions and this for the Asia Pacific Region.

He/she will:

- Identify, support and manage the regional network of agents/distributors and business partners for OCEM Airfield.

- Work with HQ and the members of the regional team (s)he will closely work with airport customers to support them with creating the future of their airside together with the right solutions, services and current and future technology needs.

- Be responsible for the commercial and technical requirements of all tenders and quotations.

- Generate pre-sales and value base sales activities.

- Identify, make contact to the various stake holders of the targeted airport prospects and build up a solid customer relationship.

- Manage long term business development opportunities in the region.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other engineering discipline.  

- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in sales or business development function.

- Proven experience in managing regional sales activities, handling and supporting Chinese/Cantonese speaking countries, will be seen as a strong advantage.

- Good knowledge of Engineering Solutions, value-based selling, control systems and/or IT networking and power systems will be an extra advantage.

Responsabilità


Le attività principali sono le seguenti:

  • Programmazione embedded in linguaggio C / C++ su architetture 8, 16 e 32 bit
  • Implementazione di protocolli di comunicazione e accesso multiplo al canale (tecnologie a bus dedicato, comunicazioni powerline, short e medium-range radio)
  • Sviluppo e implementazione di algoritmi di digital signal processing
  • Progettazione e implementazione di sistemi di controllo digitali
  • Realizzazione di semplici circuiti sperimentali su millefori
  • Validazione del FW (simulazioni, prototipi, banco test)

Project and Support Engineer 

As a member of Saudi Arabia Project, you will be responsible for the installing, configuring, testing, and deploying of OCEM’s AGL products into customer environment. This will typically be in three phases, namely office-based system setup, followed by remote installation and then finally onsite commissioning, integration, acceptance, training, go-live (including cutover support) and troubleshooting defects which are reported by customer during warranty and support periods.

Attività

  • Pianifica e gestisce progetti di certificazione prodotto, sia a livello nazionale che internazionale (ICAO, FAA, STAC, AENA, ENAC, CASA, etc.)

Field Service Engineer

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people with the passion to support our vision and values and help to change the future of aviation. We are now offering a fascinating position as Field Service Engineer who will have to ensure the maintenance service and/or plant start-ups in Italy and abroad.

The main activities are as follows:

  • On-site and remote starting and testing of simple and complex systems.
  • Assistance to external and internal customers to identify and solve technical problems.
  • Perform periodic maintenance contracts.
  • Prepare or assists in the preparation of technical documentation following interventions or to improve technical manuals.
  • Instruct technical training courses for external and internal clients.
  • Developing close relationships with customers to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Suggest improvements and changes to products from a commercial perspective.
  • Familiarity with standards and regulations pertaining to the aviation industry (ICAO, FAA, etc.) and/or individual airports.
  • Promote and communicates corporate image during training and start-ups.
  • Travel in Italy and abroad.

Qualifications & Skills

  • First Class Degree in electrical or electronic engineering or similar
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in this role
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French (written and spoken), an additional language is a plus.

The Inside Sales Specialist is an integral part of the bid process to our global clients, will be issuing simple offers as well as complex ones in coordination with the bid engineers.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Specialist interacts with potential and existing customers through emails, telephone calls, and live chats to support them during the bidding and selling phase. They sustain the Sales Managers in the generation of qualified opportunities, create suitable quotes, and follow the order intake process.

The main activities are as follows:

  • elaboration of offers for mainly international customers and management of complex and noncomplex projects, in support and in coordination with the sales managers and the bid engineers.
  • management of direct contacts with customers both in relation to direct offers and as back up to sales managers.
  • possible involvement in the internal management of orders both through the maintenance of relations with the customer and through the coordination of the activities of diverse internal functions.
  • daily interaction with various functions of the company for administrative, technical and execution matters.
  • virtual meetings to build relationship with new customers.
  • advise customers on suitable simple product selection based on their needs and specifications.
  • support sales managers in the regular maintenance of the CRM.
