OCEM’s DIAM 4100 CCR joins the company’s ever-growing list of FAA-certified products
OCEM Airfield Technology’s DIAM 4100 constant current regulator (CCR) has become the Italian company’s latest product to receive FAA certification.
The CCR, which maintains constant current independently of fluctuations in electricity and power, was developed in partnership with Augier SAS, a leader in single-phase regulators and an associate company of OCEM since 2001.
Diam4100 series CCRs are optimized static devices, controlled by double thyristor, designed to maintain a constant pre-displayed and adjustable output current independently of load or power supply fluctuations.
The powerful numerical processing capability of its microprocessor digital signal processor (DSP) adapts to all kind of loads and special applications. Its internal CAN has been designed to minimize the number and the variety of spare parts.
DIAM4100 represents the best value on the market, offering high performances at the most reduced cost, thanks to an optimized design and a latest state-of-the-art digital electronic technology with Digital Signal Processor* and Controller Area Network.
It conforms to most national and international standards, including ICAO, IEC and AENA. Now it has also been certified compliant with the standards issued by the Federal Aviation Administration, the agency responsible for regulating air travel in the U.S.
OCEM consistently seeks new certifications to satisfy its customers’ needs in various countries. It also works closely with customers to develop new products where necessary.
FAA certification for the DIAM 4100 is the latest example of OCEM being a reliable and competitive global player in airfield ground lighting and control and monitoring systems. To learn more about OCEM’s product lines and certifications, check out its product page here.
