The company will unveil its new super-slim LED illuminated airfield signs at the Persion Gulf region’s largest aviation exhibition.
OCEM Airfield Technology will be unveiling a new super-slim LED illuminated airfield sign next week at Airport Show Dubai, the Persian Gulf region’s largest aviation exhibition.
From May 9 to 11, OCEM will be showing its new LED SLIMS sign, clocking in at just 3.5 cm thick, along with the rest of its LED product line and airfield monitoring and controls systems at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event is the largest airfield product and management exhibition serving the Gulf Cooperation Council states: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. OCEM participated last year as well.
An estimated 400 million passengers will pass through the region’s airports by 2020, according to the Airport Show. Persian Gulf states are undertaking $100 billion in development projects to improve infrastructure and passenger experience in response.
With a vast experience on high temperature applications and territories, OCEM was able to identify the best technical and deployment solution to accommodate the very stringent requirement for ground lighting. Indeed OCEM has been able to make a visible dent into the Local market.
In December, OCEM supplied more than 1,000 LED lighting luminaries, CCRs and an ALCMS control and monitoring system to Al Ain airfield in the United Arab Emirates. The monitoring control system was designed specifically for the integration of pre-existing boards at Al Ain, allowing optimal performance results and a smooth transition.
