Inset Approach Light

SLAP

A unidirectional 12″ diameter light, SLAP is used as an approach light (centreline and crossbars) for ICAO CAT I, II and III, and military runways; an approach side row barrette light for ICAO CAT II and III, and military runways and as a threshold wing bar light for ICAO CAT I, II and III, and military runways. The light offers stable chromaticity thanks to the use of dichroic filters. It has a rated life of 1000 hours at full intensity and 3000 hours in field operating conditions.
